Want to bring all up to date on Sean's progress. He continues to improve in all phases. He is walking now w/o assistance. We walk along side of him in case he loses his balance. The right foot/ankle seems to have responded well to the recent casting. He does not seem to be catching his right toe on the ground as much when walking. Typically, on the weekends we take him for a walk in the neighborhood. We are up to a 1/2 mile. All the neighbors are thrilled to see him and offer him words of encouragement. Very nice! Last week he was given a cane and seems to be doing well w/ it. We are still getting used to it as is Sean.

He has been speaking well the last week. We hope that continues. In the past we saw brief glimpses of speech improvement. Keep your fingers crossed.

His eye doctor is very pleased w/ Sean's vision improvement. He removed the left sided prism on his lens and has given us a new lens prescription.

Sean's friends continue to visit him every weekend. They bring him lunch from places they used to go to in high school. Sean enjoys that and their visits. He had some guys over for poker this Sunday. Sean was the big winner of the day. Hope that does not impact future visits- just kidding.
